CBS Sets Live Hall of Fame Vote for Greatest Super Bowl Commercials – Fans Can Revisit the Classics Online
Super Bowl ads are stepping into the spotlight again—this time with a live Hall of Fame vote. CBS will air “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials: Hall of Fame Countdown” on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 (8:00–9:00 PM ET/PT), live from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, home of Super Bowl LX. The one-hour special will also stream on Paramount+.
For fans who want to watch the classics before the show, we’ve collected many of the contenders and past favorites in our own archive, including Budweiser’s “Streaker”, Coca‑Cola’s “Mean Joe Greene”, Apple’s “1984”, and more.
A Live Hall of Fame Vote for the Greatest Super Bowl Ad
Hosted by Nate Burleson (CBS Mornings, The NFL Today) and actress Daniela Ruah, “Super Bowl Greatest Commercials: Hall of Fame Countdown” marks the 25th anniversary of CBS’s Super Bowl commercial specials with a new twist: viewers will help choose the next Hall of Fame inductee.
Here’s how it works:
- Burleson and Ruah will curate their Top 10 Super Bowl commercials of all time, mixing:
- Iconic classics from the 1970s–2000s
- Modern favorites from the streaming and social era
- Over the hour, they’ll count down from 10 to 2, revealing their picks for the most unforgettable Super Bowl ads ever made.
- At the end, they reveal their Top 2 finalists—then hand the decision to the audience.
Viewers in the Eastern and Central time zones will be able to vote live via a QR code that appears on screen. The winning commercial will be announced before the show ends and officially inducted into the Super Bowl Commercials Hall of Fame, alongside:
Brands in the Spotlight: Doritos, E‑Trade, FedEx, Pepsi, Budweiser and More
CBS has confirmed that the special will feature Doritos, E‑Trade, FedEx, Pepsi and other fan favorites. Year after year, many of the same classics surface near the top of these lists—commercials that consistently perform well in viewer polls and online rankings.
Among the perennials that often make the cut:
- Budweiser – “Streaker”
- Budweiser – Clydesdale family of spots
- Doritos – Crash the Super Bowl winners
- E‑Trade – Baby commercials
- FedEx – “Cast Away” tie‑ins and other high‑concept spots
These are the commercials that don’t just win in a single year—they return to the podium whenever “greatest of all time” lists are compiled.
Exclusive Sneak Peeks at 2026 Super Bowl Spots
The special isn’t only about nostalgia. It will also offer first looks at 2026 Super Bowl LX commercials.
Kevin Frazier, co‑host of Entertainment Tonight, returns as sideline contributor, providing:
- Behind‑the‑scenes access to brand‑new 2026 spots
- Sneak peeks at some of this year’s most anticipated Big Game commercials
- On‑site commentary from Levi’s Stadium
Frazier will be joined by:
- Jerry Rice – three‑time Super Bowl champion and Pro Football Hall of Famer
- Don Jeanes – the actor best known as the farmer in Budweiser’s iconic Clydesdale ads
As new teasers and full spots are released, we’ll continue to add them to our 2026 hub at SuperBowl-Ads.com
