M&M’S brand makes return trip to the Super Bowl
Mars Chocolate North America announced M&M’S® Brand will feature an all-new 30-second commercial during the first quarter of Super Bowl XLVI on February 5, 2012. This will mark the second trip to the Super Bowl for the colorful chocolate candy brand.
M&M’S® will step into a starting role in Super Bowl XLVI instead of SNICKERS® Brand, which has enjoyed back-to-back success through the “You’re Not You When You’re Hungry” campaign.
“We’re very excited to have M&M’S® featured during one of the world’s largest parties,” said Debra A. Sandler, Chief Consumer Officer, Mars Chocolate North America. “SNICKERS® will prove to be a tough act to follow, but we’re confident our M&M’S® spot will have everyone talking on the morning of February 6.”
M&M’S® will announce additional details about their Super Bowl ad in January 2012.
