With a little more than two weeks until Super Bowl XLV, Hollywood is finalizing its plans to advertise during the most-watched television event of the year.

Paramount is advertising five films during the Super Bowl broadcast “Super 8“, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon“, “Rango“, “Thor” and “Captain America: The First Avenger”. Paramount has also purchased pregame ad slots for “Kung Fu Panda 2”

Disney has bought time during the game for “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides“, and could advertise “Cars 2” during the pregame.

Universal Pictures will advertise the sci-fi western “Cowboys & Aliens“.

Relativity Media has purchased time for “Limitless” starring Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro.

Sony has purchased pregame slots for their releases “Just Go With It“, “Battle: Los Angeles” and “Priest“.

Warner Bros. and Fox appear to be sitting this year out, but that could change. And studios participating could add spots for other films before the game.
