Audi says its going to get an ad in the first quarter of the game on Feb. 6. It will mark Audi’s fourth consecutive Super Bowl. San Francisco-based ad agency Venables Bell & Partners is creating the new commercial.
Given the nearly $3 million per 30 seconds price tag per for precious ad time in the Big Game, advertisers better have a compelling reason to justify it.
“The success we’ve experienced with Super Bowl is clearly translating to growth,” said Scott Keogh, Audi’s U.S. chief marketing officer.
The past three years Audi has delivered highly-rated spots.
