Reebok's Tate Returns In Super Spot

NEW YORK — Reebok said Thursday that it will bring back fictional spokesman “Terrible Terry Tate” during Super Bowl XXXVIII on Feb. 1. The twist is the new four-minute ‘movie’ will break online at Reebok.com.

In the spot, via Arnell Group, New York, and Hypnotic, Los Angeles, shows Tate, who in past spots has run roughshod over employees as a linebacker-turned office manager, meeting his match in the form of a foe from Human Resources.

“Terry Tate has proven to be a character that resonates with consumers around the world who appreciate a good laugh,” Micky Pant, CMO for Reebok, Canton, Mass., said in a statement.

Reebok aired the first Terry Tate spot during Super Bowl XXXVII.
