NEW YORK — Pepsi-Cola North America verified its extensive Super Bowl plans Tuesday when it said that four spots for three different brands, per BBDO, New York, will air during the big game on Sunday.

Diet Pepsi receives support in the form of the 30-second ad “Mud People.” The spot will feature a teen concert-goer covered in mud. When he and the people around him are cleaned off he finds a surprise — his Dad rocking next to him! Diet Pepsi has been a steady performer for the company.

Pepsi Twist gets a shocked Ozzy Osbourne when his kids Jack and Kelly are transformed into Donnie and Marie Osmond. Florence Henderson also makes an appearance in this 45-second spot. Consumers can see the making of the spot Saturday at Yahoo.com. They can also bid on Osbournes-related items will all proceeds going to the Los Angeles Youth Network.Pepsi Twist and Diet Pepsi Twist have proved to be a successful line extension for Pepsi.

Sierra Mist gets the 30-second “Fire Hydrant” and 45-second “Monkey.” The ending for the “Monkey” spot is being decided by consumers at Sierramist.yahoo.com through Friday. The lemon-lime Sierra Mist is trying to gain awareness as it launches nationally.

Last year brand Pepsi and Lipton Brisk were the brands highlighted in the spotlight of the Super Bowl.
