Super Bowl Spot Affirms “Monster Works for Everybody” New Redesign of Monster Homepage Enhances Job Seeker Experience
MAYNARD, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Monster today announced the national launch of Monster Skilled & Hourly. The offering provides a fast, easy, and convenient way for job seekers to search for and apply to a wide range of employment opportunities in any industry – from food service and healthcare, to retail and trucking. As part of the national rollout, Monster, the leading global online careers property and flagship brand of TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW – News), will debut a 30-second spot focused on the Skilled & Hourly initiative during Super Bowl XXXVII, demonstrating that Monster Works for Everybody.
“Monster is the worldwide leader in connecting all types of job seekers and employers. The launch of our Skilled & Hourly brand expansion strengthens our ‘Monster Works for Everybody’ commitment,” said Jeff Taylor, founder and chairman of Monster. “Skilled & Hourly is the latest example of how Monster continues to help every type of job seeker – from part-time hourly workers to full-time executives – connect with employers and quality job opportunities across all industries.”
Monster Skilled & Hourly Goes National
Online job seekers to Monster can now search thousands of nationwide skilled and hourly job postings, as well as access all of Monster’s career-related articles, tips, and tools. The Cincinnati pilot program proved a tremendous online presence from hourly job seekers, as 88 percent completed applications via the Internet, and 12 percent utilized a phone or paper application. Monster Skilled & Hourly will accept applications nationwide via online, phone, or by paper, and the national offering will include a bi-lingual system support in English and Spanish for phone and paper applications. Monster Skilled & Hourly will allow employers to quickly and easily track, screen, and sort candidates’ applications throughout the hiring process.
Monster Website Redesign
In conjunction with the launch of Monster Skilled & Hourly, Monster also unveiled its newly designed homepage and website. The revamped site redesign is a crucial element of Monster’s ongoing commitment to provide job seekers with a faster, more efficient way to search for opportunities. Changes to the site will continue to be implemented in the coming months to better serve both job seekers and employers.
A Monster “Kick Off” During Super Bowl
As part of a multi-platform marketing blitz to promote its brand expansion, Monster will debut a 30-second spot during Super Bowl XXXVII, appealing to both job seekers and employers. The spot, created by Arnold Worldwide, marks Monster’s fifth consecutive year as a Super Bowl advertiser and will focus on Monster’s ability to connect job seekers at all levels with employment opportunities in a wide range of industries.
“This is the first time that Monster has leveraged the expansive audience of the Super Bowl to launch a brand expansion. The Super Bowl continues to serve as a successful vehicle to reach a captive nationwide audience comprised of all types of job seekers and debut Monster Skilled & Hourly,” added Taylor.
The Super Bowl spot will also feature notable country music deejay and songwriter Bill Mack as the voiceover. Host of the “Country Crossroads” radio show for more than 32 years, Mack has received more awards than any other country music deejay in the world for his ability to keep millions of truck drivers and other listeners amused – and awake – during the early hours of the morning with his music and banter.
