Super Bowl Commercial Features Dale Earnhart, Jr. Being A Designated Driver
ST. LOUIS, MO–(INTERNET WIRE)–When it comes to showcasing new advertising, the Super Bowl is…well the Super Bowl of venues. And this year, the game’s biggest commercial sponsor — Anheuser-Busch — is teaming up with racing superstar, Dale Earnhart Jr. to deliver an important message about designated drivers.
This new commercial featuring NASCAR Winston Cup Series driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., set to debut February 3, during the television broadcast of Super Bowl XXXVI continues Anheuser-Busch’s commitment to helping prevent drunk driving.
The 30-second ad shows the racing superstar serving as the designated driver and using his famous Number 8 Budweiser car to drive a friend home.
A recent national poll showed that 122 million Americans have either been a designated driver or have been driven home by one.
Since 1982, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesalers have invested more than $375 million in alcohol education and awareness efforts to help fight underage drinking and drunk driving and to promote personal responsibility.
