Princeton Video Image Puts Virtual Ads in the International Feed

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 26, 2000–Princeton Video Image, Inc. (NASDAQ:PVII, www.pvi-inc.com), the global leader in virtual advertising solutions for television, has announced it will insert virtual advertisements for several sponsors in the international feed of NFL Super Bowl XXXIV on January 30 from the Atlanta Georgia Dome.

PVI’s Live Video Insertion System (L-VIS(TM)) will be used to insert advertisements globally for Charles Schwab, the exclusive financial services sponsor for PVI at Super Bowl XXXIV. Virtual signs for General Motors, Tri Mark Investors, Canadian Tire, Dynamic Mutual Fund, and North Star Mall will appear in the Global Television Network’s Canadian telecast of the game and signs for Tecate will appear in TV Azteca’s Mexican telecast of the game. Advertisers will make use of virtual animations, flip cards and shutters for their signs, which will appear on either side of the goal post during breaks in the action of the game.
