Most Memorable Super Bowl Ads: NFL “Touchdown Celebrations To Come”

In 2017, the NFL did their best to shed their “No Fun League” moniker by lifting the 10-year old ban on touchdown celebrations. In a nod to the ensuing excitement around endzone dances, the NFL’s 2018 Super Bowl commercial featured Eli Manning and Odell Beckham, Jr. practicing a touchdown celebration–by recreating the iconic dance scene from Dirty Dancing. Pop culture experts, ad execs and Manning himself weigh in on what made the spot so good that it managed to get a standing ovation from Patriots and Eagles fans when it premiered live at the Super Bowl.
